Settlements
After collecting payments, the funds will be securely held in accounts. They will become available for withdrawal after the settlement period.
- Funds available in liable accounts can be withdrawn to your own bank accounts.
- Funds available in user accounts can be withdrawn to your users' bank accounts.
We offer some options for creating settlements:
- Schedule settlements and dLocal will automatically trigger them for you. For assistance with this option, please contact your assigned Technical Account Manager.
- You can initiate on-demand settlements through the Payouts API.
Before making a settlement
You can send all bank information in the API request while we also support to add bank accounts to an account ahead of settlement.
We will validate
- The user's account status must be APPROVED. Settlements cannot proceed if the account has not been validated.
- Beneficiary's tax ID needs to match the tax ID provided during the onboarding process.
- Ensure the bank account used for the settlements belongs to the same tax ID
